The Brighton Beacon
Background:
In the midst of the global pandemic, we reached out to the Municipality of Brighton proposing a community magazine to support and engage the residents and local businesses of Brighton.
The Voice of Brighton
As a community, Brighton has minimal print media coverage. We at Maracle felt the community deserved more. We produce several publications for clients from start (layout and design) to finish (print and distribution), and have often discussed producing a magazine of our own. So it felt like the perfect fit.
Purpose:
- To be the voice of Brighton
- A community and lifestyle magazine for its residents
- Promote local business and not-for-profit organizations
- Highlight special events and people in the community
- Attract tourism to Brighton – as the gateway to the Bay of Quinte, a tourist destination
Other publications
- Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario
- Canadian Journal of Optometry
- Durham Region’s Annual Report
