That was the vision that fueled our launch back in 1920 when Maracle was founded on the very same spot in Oshawa where you’ll find us today. Since then, we’ve become a leader of printing excellence, proudly supporting organizations and businesses of all sizes across Canada and the USA.Today, our friendly team of experts quite literally have printing in their DNA with some coming from three generations of print professionals. And while there are over 40 of us now, it’s fair to say we feel more like family than simply colleagues. Each one of us guided by that original vision, and working creatively to develop our services inline with advances in the commercial print industry. Always with our customers’ needs in mind. And always with outstanding jargon-free support.

We are proud of our long and acclaimed history, but we haven’t excelled for this long by looking over our shoulder. Our eyes are on the future of print. We are committed to driving change to match our customers’ vision and budget and to getting the most out of developments in print technology. To meet the evolving needs of our customers, we’ve expanded our plant from 15,000 sq feet to 55,000 sq feet. We’ve also grown our pre-press and design team, publishing and fulfillment services and customized, short-run offerings.

Michael Hothi Acquires Maracle Press., Expanding Print Solutions Portfolio
[Oshawa, ON] – [March 18, 2024] – Michael Hothi, owner of Ottawa-based Trico Packaging and Print Solutions, and Toronto-based Canadian Printing Resources, has finalized an agreement to acquire Maracle Press, a leading full-service print provider based in Oshawa and established in 1920.
With over a century of experience, Maracle has built an exceptional reputation for excellence in quality and service within the printing industry, specializing in serving clients in the education, publishing, and financial sectors. This agreement marks a significant milestone for Hothi, representing his seventh acquisition since 2022 and further enhancing his print solutions portfolio.

Under the terms of the asset agreement, Maracle will continue its operations in the same facility and under the same name. The former shareholder group, who was represented by Connecting for Results in the transaction, will remain involved to ensure a healthy transition period.
